New York Fashion Week started on one of the coldest and snowiest days we've had so far this year; however that did not stop the runway at all and much less did it stop the action around the show venues. Many a photographer gathered around the corners and main entrance, snapping away looks of attendees, models, influencers and editors.
I'm a bit peculiar when shooting street style. My viewfinder tends to be attracted to anything that can have a bit of a classic spin (think London), or something totally innovative - that transports me to the streets of Tokyo or Seoul. I look for interesting textures and colors, lots of layers -anything that can tell me a story of you in 2 seconds.
Obviously, loads of coats, boots and accessories paraded the streets of Clarkson Square this season - I mean it was freezing - but it doesn't mean it was any less interesting. I noticed people were taking chances and straying away from the neutrals with some wearing full on colorful looks.
If you loved these looks, make sure to come back next week for Part II!
